Dallas and Mumbai, India (January 24, 2006)

Pegasus Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq: PEGS) and Avenues announced that Avenues has signed an agreement to use Pegasus’ Unirez by Pegasus™ service. With this agreement, Avenues adds greater functionality to ResAvenue, its plug-and-play online reservation engine, by enabling the hotels it represents to be booked by travel agents and on Web sites around the world. Avenues is South Asia’s largest integrated e-commerce company. Dallas-based Pegasus is a leading global provider of technology and services to hotels and travel distributors, with regional offices in Singapore and Beijing.

With this agreement, Avenues’ hotel customers in South Asia, especially those in the Indian sub-continent, can now list their hotel property in the four major global distribution systems (GDSs)—Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre and Worldspan—through the well-known UZ code that connects to that 450,000 travel agents world-wide , and on thousands of consumer-focussed travel Web sites around the world including major travel portals like hotels.com, expedia.com and travelocity.com. Additionally, Avenues will use Pegasus’ commission processing service, which gives hotels a central clearinghouse to pay commissions to travel agents around the world.

According to Vishwas Patel, CEO of Avenues: “This capability should prove valuable to all hoteliers who used to find the cost of getting access to these channels to be prohibitive. With ResAvenue, hoteliers will have a fully integrated GDS / IDS solution, which uses next generation seamless technology, which will enable them to update all descriptive data, rates and availability throughout their entire distribution network through one single window interface in real time from any office or hotel which has Internet access. We have decided to waive the setup fees for this service as we want our hotel customers to have maximum exposure to the Global Distrubution System and empower them to compete on a global scale. Hoteliers using our ResAvenue system will only pay a commission if they actually receive bookings. Also, by paying commissions to travel agents through Pegasus, we will  help Avenues hotel customers widen their marketing reach through new agent relationships and improved agent relations with the global agent community.”

ResAvenue’s multi-lingual booking engine integrates into the hoteliers’ branded Web site, enabling them to confirm reservations online in real time. ResAvenue’s booking engine features include an instant, multi-currency credit card / debit card payment-collection capability.
